Ptg td sambil2 tgk TV dgn Aisyah, keluar iklan derma untuk kanak2 di Afrika. Aisyah pon tanya, 'Why she got red lips?' (kesan sakit / malnourished kot). So aku agak tu adalah peluang yg baik utk ajar Aisyah konsep bersyukur pada Allah atas segala nikmat.
Aku bgtau la, budak dlm TV tu sakit, sbb dia x de makanan. Kesian dia. Intipati perbualan kami...
Aku: She's sick coz she didn't have anything to eat
Aisyah: She needs to eat nasik
Aku: Yes, but if you have no food, what are you going to do?
Aisyah: We need to go shopping (for food)
Aku: Yes, but what if you have no money? You can't buy food
Aisyah: Mummy, you have money...
Aku: What if I don't have money? How can we pay for the food?
Aisyah: You have the .... CARD
(OMG... dia bole perasan debit card tu as good as money itself?!!) But the best ayat is yet to come. Hold on.. hold on...
Aisyah: OR, LET'S USE AYAH'S CARD!!!
Tazkirah terpaksa tamat awal, sbb aku rasa nak gelak guling2. Xpe la, I just asked her to recite 'Alhamdulillah', and thank you Allah several times, made sure she understood that she is very lucky to have a family that loves her and can support her (with the rezeqi from Allah) and gave her a massive hug.
On a personal note, today has been a very blessed day. Several things got approved, lunch plak, tgh2 fikir nak mkn apa, terus Kak Mazni dtg bawak sebekas mihun goreng sedeqah kat aku, tugas2 memasak plak hari ni byk re-con lauk smlm shj, jd dinner dpt mkn awal and subsequently dpt gi ke opis semula lebih awal sejam drpd selalu. Work-wise plak, had been very productive. I guess some days you're up, some days you're down. Alhamdulillah whichever ways, for Allah knows better... Praying that the momentum stays. I really need to finish this fi sabilillah business (PhD) soon, Insya Allah....
