Smlm entry serius giler sehingga membuatkan ramai org nak bercuti balik Msia berasa guilty, and yg nak start PhD berasa kecut. Sorry ye kengkawan, bukan gitu niat aku. Just psycho kan diri sendiri, and utk rujukan masa dpn, time alpa lg hrp nya dpt la baca balik.
Anyway, it's not all hard work and no play with PhD. Take today, for instance, kitaorg kluar gi Xmas Lunch ramai2 di Pizza Express. Kalo ikutkan menu dia italian la, but my friend Anna, from Bologne, Italy, was horrified at the menu, sbb x authentic langsung. Even the lime juice pon dia bole detect dibuat daripada air paip, and she went, "Horrible!"... Okaayyy... I ni buto menu, x pernah pon pergi fine dining, so mkn ajo la. Aku x pernah mkn lg kat tempat ni, so mari kita me-review.
The ambience was very nice, very calm. Toilet very the bersih oneee... Service, standard Western la. Dlm 30 minutes sampai la mknan tu semua. Waitress ok. Table agak rapat2 dgn each other, so tolak sket markah kat situ. Ni gmbr the geng. My SV pon turut serta td, and dia adalah tidak berlagak serius kali ini, which was good heheh. Btw, mmg benar lah kata org, after one year, kita akan mula rasa belonging to the lab. It's true people.
Ok, ok. Food time. For starters we had dough balls. Omg it was so good rasa mcm nak nak mkn sepinggan lg. Very, very nice! I give it 5/5. Yummy yum yum!
For main course, I chose to have a Gardiniera pizza, made of cheese, cherry tomatoes, asparagus, artichoke, olives, and pepper. Saja adventurous sket. Well, bkn adventurous mana pon, sbb ada 3 choices aje utk vegetarian, tp maleh la nak amik margherita, asyik2 cheese and tomato semata kan, muak la. The other option was Padana Pizza. It looked real nice, with goat cheese and spinach, and cherry tomatoes, and olives, tp another person had selected it so x nak la copy. hehe.. Saja kasi variety. Plus I had never ever tasted artichoke before, so ini la peluang nya. Rupa artichoke ni mcm jantung pisang, I had thought, rasa pon not far off. Adik beradik satu species kot..?
Overall, the pizza was not that bad, the size was humongous, but I thought the dough was too chewy. Jenuh I nak mengunyah. So aku kasi 3 bintang sahaja lah. Mungkin x akan bawa Hubs ke sini. Better spend my hard-earned cash beli Kebab or Pad Thai yum yum...
Last but not least, adat org sini mkn dessert, so I had Chocolate and Pistachio Gelato. Yg ni indah khabar dari rupa dan rasa. Coklat dia not so bad la, but the pistachio went missing! Tarak rasa pistachio pon. Udah la kata gelato, mcm aiskrim harga GBP1 je rasa dia. Ish ish.. autar betul... Sbb tu aku kasi satu bintang 3 suku je... Jauuuuuuuhh lg sedap Gelato kat Jusco Cheras Selatan. Ah.. teringatnya!
Ok, sebut pasal mkn nak letak video Aisyah. Kang komplen plak adik beradik, ipar duai, mak bapak pak menakan I apa semua sbb dah lama x letak info cucu kersayangan. Asyik entry PhD je kata diorg kang. Ok ni video Aisyah pg td. Dia adalah sgt suka mkn Biskut Jacobs Cheeselets okeh. Kalo pergi dapur, bg dia anything else dia reject, nak yg tu jgk. Mmg sedap pon biskut ni. Dah nak abis 2 tong kat rumah, and kat lab dah habis se-tong. Aiyo, addictive betul!
Anyway, Aisyah sudah develop itu sifat 'kut-kut' la, yakni x mau sharing. Ni adalah respon dia yg biasa kalo org nak amik mknan dlm mangkuk dia. Eii.. jgn la cuba... amaran keras ni... You have been warned... hehe..
